Who we are
Hotels10 is operated by Skill5 Inc. This policy covers the Hotels10 app on iPhone and Android, the web app at app.hotels10.com, and this website. Questions about it go through our contact form.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address when you create an account. A guest account has no email until you link one.
- Learning data: lesson progress, quiz answers, points, streaks and daily activity, stored so your learning continues across devices.
- Preferences: the areas you select and your daily goal.
- Device basics: your timezone, used for streaks, and the app version, used for support.
- Team data: if you run a hotel or team plan, the name of the team and the email addresses of the people you invite, so we can grant them access and show you their progress.
We do not sell personal data, we do not show third-party advertising, and we do not build profiles of you for anyone else.
This website
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. If you write to us through the contact form, we keep the message for as long as it takes to answer it and for our records of that conversation.
Where it is processed
Your data is stored with our hosting providers and processed only to provide the service. Payments are handled by third parties and we never see your card details: purchases on the web are processed by Paddle as merchant of record, and purchases inside the apps by the Apple App Store or Google Play, each under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, through our contact form. You can delete your account and everything associated with it at any time from the profile screen in the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to restrict or object to how we use your data and to complain to a data protection authority.
Retention and children
Learning data is kept while your account exists and deleted with it. Records we must keep by law, such as invoices, are kept for the period the law sets. Hotels10 is made for adults at work; we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
